This just in, Publix just released a coupon for a FREE Yoplait Greek yogurt. Not only did I just tweet today about how much I love Greek food, but I LOVE Greek yogurt. It’s great on its own mixed with a little honey, but it’s also a wonderful base for dips and more!

We all know one way to save money monthly is to cut back on your entertainment budget by borrowing movies and books from your local library.
However, I’ve found a gem in Nashville that’s giving away books: McKay Used Books, CD’s Movies & More.
Located in West Nashville, McKay’s has boxes outside their store (aptly labeled “Free Books”) that you can literally take a book from for free. Of course, if you’re interested in something more, you can shop inside and browse their 10 miles of shelf space! if you bring in your own books, movies or CD’s you get credit to use to shop in the store as well!
They have location’s in Nashville, Knoxville & Chattanooga, so hopefully you can find one near you. If you’re not in TN, look for a used bookstore locally where you can reuse and recycle your books – it’s a great option to keep your reading current while keeping money in your pocket!

I know, you’re thinking, “But they’re buy one get one free all the time!” True, but according to our favorite store manager at the Hwy 100 store in Bellevue who has worked for Publix for years, he has NEVER seen ALL Kellogg’s cereals go half off at the same time, and anticipates they will sell out fast.
I also just discovered that Publix is running their “Buy theirs, Get ours” promotion this week again. This is where you buy a brand name item and get the Publix version of the same product for FREE. Now through March 9th, you can get the following:

This weekend is one of Bank of America’s “Free Museum Weekends”
On March 6 & 7, Bank of America customers can get into hundreds of museums across the country for FREE! The first weekend of every month, each Bank of America cardholder can get a free, general admission to a participating museum.
In Tennessee, you can get into the Frist Center for the Visual Arts or Cheekwood Botanical Gardens – both are family favorites of ours!

Home Depot’s Kids Workshops are free, “how to” workshops designed for kids ages 5-12 (though I’ve taken my 3 year old – if nothing else they love the free cookies and punch at the end…not to mention getting to use a hammer without getting in trouble!)
